A Reflection on 2020

As 2020 comes to a close, I’d like to reflect on the year that has passed for Broadview Insurance. In the face of the pandemic, uncertainty, and unexpected bouts of working from home, I can say with confidence that we have learned a lot about how to best serve our customers in the age of social distancing and doing business digitally.

In March, we made the decision to close the office to in person visitors and work from home remotely. While this was intimidating for all of us who are used to coming into the office every day, it went surprisingly well. We were able to adjust our phone systems and home capabilities so that customers could still receive the same great service that they always have. We adapted to new ways of doing business to still provide a personal touch – we adopted video conferencing, providing video recordings of quotes to customers, and leveraging technology to better understand what makes our customers happy or frustrated.

Throughout the year, you may have received an email requesting for a brief survey rating of 0 to 10 on your satisfaction with the agencies, along with comments if needed. These are extremely important to us, as they let us know if we’re doing our job right. If you haven’t received this email, please email me at [email protected] and I will make sure you are put on the list. In addition, we’ve begun reaching out more frequently to review renewals with customers and make sure their coverage is up to date and at a price they are happy with. While we have moved back into our offices, we are more confident than ever that we are equipped to move forward into 2021 with whatever challenges the world throws at us. It is important to us to continue to adapt with technology and trends to be able to best serve you as a trusted insurance advisor. We’re extremely excited to grow, and continue to provide exceptional service to our customers new and old in 2021.

Thank you for hanging in there with us – I know 2020 has been tough for everyone, but I am confident that 2021 will bring prosperity and return a sense of normalcy to all!
